Are the Compassion Escort Quests Broken?

I have been doing Compassion Escort Quests on all my characters so they may maintain their Knight Status for rezzing.
Today as I was doing them I kept getting the message "You have gained in Compassion, You receive a 500 gold reward" then it says "You have failed your escort quest".
Is anyone else having this problem?

Have you checked to see if your points actually went up, or stayed the same?

The guard zone changes for the events may be interfering with the escorts. IF so, they picked a really bad time to stop the Ocllo escorts, as those should have been the only destination without changes due to events.

By checking points are you referring to the little blue squares on the Compassion Virtue Gump? Those are all blue not red but were blue when I started the escorts as all my characters are Knight of Compassion. I usually do the escorts when I first log in a character and it tells me on my journal (right under where it says you have successfully logged in) that I lost some Compassion. If I do them that day I only have to do 3 per character and the blue dots never turn back to red.

Therefore, until I find someone that needs a rez I will not know whether or not the escorts "took". If I don't rez at 80% health then I'll know it failed.

Seems to me a bad time to have that feature fail what with all the fighting and dying going on.

I started a thread today on this very issue. Unfortunately, it was ignored

However, what I determined from my chars (I am working 4 of them right now) is that they indeed did gain in compassion, however, on one of the escorts, I never got the thank you message, the gold and all I got was that I failed the quest. I had to wait the five minute timer and do it all over again. I certainly hope this is a bug and not intentional.

It seems to just be a text error, because I re-achieved Knight of Compassion escorting refugees from Skara to Jhelom yesterday.

Let me say again, btw, that it was a nice touch to have escort missions out of the invaded cities, kind of like refugees.

It does seem to be a text error for the most part. But one of the messages about failing was correct on one of my quests, it made me do it all over again AND wait the timer. This is the part I do not think is right. How can I possibly fail when I take the NPC exactly where they want to be? I gated from Cove and arrived in Nujelm - exactly where they wanted to be and yet I failed and had to do it again? What gives here?
