The Maze - Shall soft start the event at 8:00 PM EST, participants are encouraged to explore it while they wait for the zombie tournament at the Skara Brae Fairgrounds.
As wanderers make their way to the Festival, the Maze shall be opened for all to explore. The maze, it is said, is haunted by a troubled old soul who realized too late that wealth could not be taken into the afterlife, and now silently wanders the maze leaving his wealth behind for the wanderers of the world to happen upon by chance. Gold shall appear in the maze throughout the festival to those brave enough to traverse its fiendish corridors.
The Zombie Tournament - Shall begin shortly after 8:00 PM EST. Arena is located southeast of Skara Brae in Felucca. Gates will be provided.
The tournament shall be made available to those willing to survive its horror. A special arena shall be built in Felucca to house this tournament. The rules of the tournament are as such:
Combat
A single person shall be designated as the 'zombie', who is not allowed to heal themselves. They shall attack the non-zombie participants, who are allowed to heal themselves. When a non-zombie participant falls, they may be resurrected as a zombie. Zombies can die and resurrect as many times as needed. The final person standing shall be designated the winner of the zombie match. This is a basic combat match, so only non-magical gear (which shall be provided) will be permitted. Special weapon moves are allowed, spellcasting (including bushido, ninjitsu) and potions are not. Zombies are asked to keep their death robes on to designate them as such. A character in the resurrection room shall be available for zombies to flag on before they descend into the depths of the arena.
Equipment
Equipment shall be provided, and it will be exceptionally crafted, with the sole magical property being mage weapon. Magery skill jewelry will also be provided. Light armor will be provided for zombies, and non-zombies are asked to remove all armor.
The winner shall be awarded 10 million gold.
Costume Contest - Shall begin at the conclusion of the Zombie Tournament at the Skara Brae Fairgrounds.
After the Zombie tournament, a costume contest shall be held with three judges assembled to find the most interesting or creative costumes. Three winners shall be chosen.
1st place: 5 million gold
2nd prize: 3 million gold
3rd prize: 2 million gold
Ghost Storytelling - Shall begin at the conclusion of the Zombie Tournament at the Skara Brae Fairgrounds.
The festival shall conclude with a story telling contest. Participants are required to tell scary tales that inspire terror, horror, or an uneasy sense of foreboding. The most frightening story shall be awarded with 10 million gold.
As a final note, the Festival of Samhain is said to attract spirits from beyond the veil. For those that choose to come, caution is advised for it cannot be known just what will find it ways to the fairgrounds. I look forward to seeing you there.

These eerie times inspire fear yet compel our curiosity as the spirits beyond the veil find their way back to the land of the living. On the 29th day of October, at 8 o'clock in the evening by the eastern skies, the city of Skara Brae shall host the Festival of Samhain to celebrate this haunting time and the terror and wonder it brings us.
