[Ninjitsu] Animal form while running?

The faq says that if you are running you will transform into the last form you were in automatically. Did they change this from a skill point stand point? I thought you could throw on some jewels and get into llama or ostard, then take them off and then be able to transform on the run with no problem? I am at 50 ninja and I fizzle a lot. Do I have to be at 70 not to fizzle ostard/llama?

You cannot take off jewels and expect to still performlike you had them on.

you need to be 70 for reliable lamma form like you thought.
