Add Waypoint Here Macro

I'd like to click an icon on my hotbar and add a waypoint to my current location based on a pre-defined set of properties. Example: If I find a good spot to teleport to, I could click a button and drop a blue pin called "Tele" on my current location. Can this be done? If so, how?
