About Hit Harm Attack

I was needing a certain bow so I made a post in the siege forum...

Its for my peace bard tamer for siege and the problem is....

Someone tolded me that Hit Harm (cold damage spell attack) doesn't work right with bows cuz its a ranged wep?

He wasn't sure though so thats why I made this post here...

And are there any other cold dam type spell attacks that an item can have besides harm!?

it doesnt work becuase of how harm works, harm deals damage based on how close you are to your target so it is best on melee weps as a hit spell, and no there are no other cold damaging hit spells. the only other cold damaging spell in the magery spells is mind blast and that deals damage based off of the casters magery and int so would be pretty usless on a wep as a hit spell
