[Buying] A customized house

Ok so I'm horrible at architecture and would really love it if I had a nice customized house! I prefer 18X18 and would even like it to have a "yard" and some water for my dolphins in there somewhere. The items I have look horrible just thrown on the ground on my plot, which contains 3 walls! Lol. Please let me see what you have or if you are willing to make me a house designed around some items! I will pay you for your precious time and talent!! Thanks.

I do not want this in Fel and I want the house on Atlantic btw!

We can plan right now more than anything as we are in the middle of a rather large 9 house project, and have someone waiting after that. We are looking at probably about a 2 week wait, but that gives you time to find a comfortable plot to work with. :)

If you do a search " N/A " under stratics homes and castles we have several pics of several different builds up. As I mentioned earlier in this thread though, we are looking at at least a couple weeks out before we could start anything.

Take a look at my recent post "The Tree of Knowledge Library" in the rares forum. Quin and Mega designed and deco'ed the whole thing. They also had many billions worth of items in their hands and not a single book went missing. Very trustworthy, insanely creative and masterful at the actual work. Do yourself a favor.. wait two weeks :)

Maybe I'm just being paranoid and maybe it looks just fine as it is. What do you all think?

And yes this plot is not 18X18 so I would need a new plot. Although I do like being able to put that dove of peace in a tree like I can now. I'm open to seeing some new plots and spending gold for a nice one if need be.

Those are some sick designs! I was especially impressed with the arcade ones. I'm interested in a crystal type palace/house with water for my dolphins. I don't tell the lady that cuts my hair how to do their job and I won't tell you either. When people are better than you at something you just let them work!

I understand wanting the bird in the tree, and fortunately there are a LOT of different types of trees for deco. :) Here's how I displayed my bird as an example.

It actually should be a fun project for someone creative. I have lots of neat items to incorporate. Plus I have other stuff, and chests fulls of yet other stuff... you would just have to tell me anything you might need, I probably have it or will buy it.

Plus I still have tons of stuff left on GL that I haven't gotten moved over yet. Kinda waiting til I get my house set here before I bring me into it.

Here is my castle and you are welcome to steal any of the design from it for future reference. It has an amazing rock garden! I just wish you could add water tiles to castles. I'm close enough to the water that I could "bring the ocean in" with some water tiles and flow it to a pond for my dolphins. I hate that you cant customize castles like regular 18x18s. But I do understand why you cant!

It does sound fun :D I love playing with water and crystals so combining the two is just extra epic! :D

For crystal like walls there is a second option now....sort of. If you dye the stone walls with the new wind azule it looks like a really pretty crystalline watery surface. We used some on The Tree of Knowledge for the water there, on walls it takes on a different, more crystal like effect. I'm actually playing with a design idea that I would like to use on my own place where I would be using the azule for the waterfalls in stairs form so the waterfalls would be pretty and functional.

We do have time for you to consider your crystal options though for sure. :D

well the crystals must fit! I'm a crystal fanatic. And its safe to say I will have a few more by the time the 2 weeks is up! And the dolphins NEED water! They also wont be going anywhere.Maybe some sort of alchemy type room as well? Oh and I'd like an extra floor if possible. If that does not fit the design the that's ok too.

I am sooooo with you on that! If I could customize a castle the way I can an 18x18 I wouldn't even hesitate to shop for one!

I really like your fireplace ideas and the fish tank :D Do you use a lava tile at the base of the fireplace for a flicker effect? The rock garden is pretty cool too :D If you used the grass tiles as apposed to the fishing nets you could probably make it pop more...creative gears are turning for sure :D :D

No I never thought to put a lava tile in the fireplace. Feel free to use the designs tho. I also have a nice restroom!

Because of the area that the house in the picture is in we could add up to three floors if we do it all stone crafted, to render upon entering (these type builds are gm legal). Now you can add bamboo floors to make the house show before you enter, but those builds are a little trickier to get away with. For example, if the neighbor behind you decides they don't like your house covering a part of their porch or house, they can page on you and a gm can remove the extra floors. The way we prefer to do the full on stone crafted builds is without the bamboo, that makes it fully legal with no potential of having to be torn down if you get a frumpy neighbor.

Most areas it seems we can add floors to although the number of floors able to be added may vary. We have only come across one plot thus far that has told us we couldn't add any floors at all. Fortunately we didn't need extra floors for that build.

Fitting crystals and water together fluidly for us is like mixing air with lungs. An alchemy lab wouldn't be to hard to add either I imagine....My place is a mountain on the outside with a full on crafting station of wide variety, display areas, rooms and then some without taking away from the nature shell. Nights house is similar in style now too in that we redid it to be a gold volcano that is a fully functional home on the inside.

I'm not above keeping the house I have and just adding a floor or 2. No bamboo tho. But maybe some folks can post some great location 18X18s for sale.

I had a Fel Skara Castle that the sale is current "pending"
I just sold 2 Fel Keeps and I may have another Nice Trammel one coming this week
The only houses I have left is the Tram New Mag (But it is also Pending Sale)
and I have a Small little one just outside Luna, that my friend Andy just customized!
I am getting few more houses this week, so I will keep you updated!
