A bard in Despise

What abilities can I use there?
I can disco both the boss and the wisp.
I can't provoke the wisp to the boss.
It seems my masteries don't affect my controlled pet.

What can a bard really do there?

You can disco all the mobs as you train your critter, makes leveling your pet much faster.
