2D or 3D

I need to know if when you buy the upgrade for SA can you choose between 2D or 3D? Or is it all 3D?? I was looking on the UO store page and the SA requirements are spec for 2D and 3D.. I can't play the 3D side of it but sure would like to play the 2D side of it??
