[Ninjitsu] 120 Ninjitsu

I am a bit confused as to the importance of having 120 Ninjitsu for darts and shurikens... What is the bonus compared to having, say, 100 skill pts? Can someone explain please? :)

Ninjitsu is the "weapon skill" to hit with them.
It's like 120 swords vs 100 swords.
