[Bowcraft/Fletching] Reforging for 100% Elemental bows

I'm trying to reforge magical short bows for 100% elemental damage, but have received contradictory advice as to which runic to use and which settings to choose.

Anyone with more experience in this arena able to shed some light? Thanks!

Oak + powerful. Its been a while since I have made any bows myself but thats what my notes said from before.

This works, its just painfully random

Would you use an Oak saw + powerful to try for 100% elemental wood weapons as well?

Yes. Oak is the same as the shadow hammer, so you use it for both bowcrafting and carpentry if you want a 100% elemental weapon.
But it is a very random process. Expect to burn several of them to get that element you want.
