Question about stamina loSS and 55% LMC

Ok so building a new dexxers and had a question about stamina loss protection. I know that to achieve 55% LMC it's studded / bone / hide. I think I read somewhere that in terms of stamina loss protection hide armor actually functions worse than studded / bone. So the question is has anyone actually tested this? I have a very nice couple of pieces that are hide legendarys.....

I have not tested with hide vs studded. I did do some testing with leather vs studded vs plate, made a big difference.

Hard cap is indeed still 40 for LMC.
But with 5 pieces of studded without mage armour on them you can get 55 LMC due to studded passive LMC. And it works wonderfully for my t-hunter and my archer.
They really use less mana when casting or using specials.
