Is anyone else having an issue using UOA or accessing www.tugsoft.com? I have tried from multiple computers, connections and locations and cannot reach the update server or the website.
1 post or 1000 posts...you still play UO....I used to have over a thousand Stratics posts, before the big wiping. They were unable to recover my post count; it was about 1,300 I think.
Not a newbie, is all I'm sayin'.
Either add the Alt or Ctrl keys to the mix, or don't bind macro's to letter keys. All my macro's either use F1-F12, or Ctrl/Alt and my number keys.ok being we're on the subject i have a question. i made some arm/ disarm uoa macros and assigned the r and t keys accordingly. now when i type in game i cannot type r and t in the lower case. i must use upper case. this is on my windows vista machine. anyone else ever see this and if so how to combat it?
thanks

Same for me, i only play once every 3 weeks if im lucky just now so i havent been checking all the time, but it still doesnt work for meIt is Completely dead now, Sept 2010. For the past two weeks it has been down.
I only play uo once a week and the past two times I went on no more UOA.
Even the updateace.com is down!
Or maybe it's just my connection?
Is it working for anyone else?

My App doesn't work either. On different accounts as well.update server is down, application still working, happens
I was in-game last night and had no issues therefore the 2 week period you refer to is invalid. Updateace worked and everything.
The best part of UOA is the display on the header line of the UO program. That is what I will miss the mostMine was working this morning, it isn't now.
Oh well, I guess this is the time I either really learn to use the client macros, which are much better than they used to be, or try a bit harder to get used to the vagueness of the EC.
I'm an old school guy. I wish the 2D was still aroundenhanced client.
The macros are powerful, and you can re-create something very like your header line using hotbars, but the look is indistinct and unclear, making my poor old head ache from trying to make out what's happening around me.
The only thing I miss from UOA is the record macro feature for fishing... the fishing doesn't work well in the EC. But the rest of the UOA macros I like better. In fact it's much easier to repeat activities in the EC macro than with UOA, either using the repeat macro function or editing the macro file.I prefer 2d, but I...dunno if I can play it without UOA. Feeling forced into the EC.
Speaking in terms of general functionality, I prefer the EC. Macros are easier, looting is easier, client is less laggy, etc. The only thing that keeps me in CC is aesthetics: I prefer the way it looks. The only thing I miss from UOA is the record macro feature for fishing... the fishing doesn't work well in the EC. See, wait until the eye doc says you have to get a pair of bifocals. Both clients are pretty fuzzy and graphics won't matter so much any more. It's ALL about the size!... The only thing that keeps me in CC is aesthetics: I prefer the way it looks. ...
